Betting and Casino Glossary
Understanding the basic terms will help you make smarter decisions when playing at ap888.
Asian Handicap
A form of football betting that gives a goal advantage or disadvantage to a specific team to level the playing field. This eliminates the possibility of a draw in most cases.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet where you predict whether the total count (goals, points, corners, etc.) in a match will go above or fall below a number set by the odds maker.
Odds Format
Odds can be displayed in decimal (1.85), fractional (17/20) or American (-120) format. Decimal format is the most commonly used on Southeast Asian platforms including ap888.
RTP (Return to Player)
The expected percentage returned to players over the long run. An RTP of 96% means that in theory RM96 is returned for every RM100 wagered, though actual results vary.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds in every game. This does not mean you cannot win, but over the long run the house will always have a slight statistical edge.
Wagering Requirement
The condition specifying how many times you must wager the bonus amount before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. At ap888, the wagering requirement for the welcome bonus is 25 times the bonus amount received.
Live Dealer Casino
Casino games hosted by real human dealers broadcast live via video. Players interact in real time — more closely resembling a physical casino experience than automated RNG games.
Slot Volatility
A measure of how often and how large wins occur in a slot game. High volatility slots pay out less frequently but in larger amounts; low volatility slots pay out more frequently in smaller amounts.
Progressive Jackpot
A jackpot prize that grows continuously each time a player places a bet across the network of games contributing to it. The jackpot can reach very large values before it is won.
Cashback
A portion of your net losses over a given period is returned as credit or cash. ap888 VIP members are eligible for weekly cashback between 0.2% and 0.8% depending on their membership tier.
Mix Parlay
A combination of two or more bet selections on a single ticket where all selections must be correct to win. Payouts are higher than single bets, but the risk is also higher.
KYC (Know Your Customer)
An identity verification process required by licensed platforms before processing withdrawals. It typically involves submitting a copy of your identity card (MyKad) and proof of address.
Step-by-Step Withdrawal Guide
The withdrawal process at ap888 is designed to be straightforward and transparent. Follow the steps below to ensure your request is processed without issues.
Log In and Access the Withdrawal Section

The minimum withdrawal amount is RM100. Double-check your account number or crypto wallet address — incorrect details can cause delays in processing.
Complete KYC Verification If Not Yet Done
Your first withdrawal requires identity verification. Upload a clear copy of your MyKad and current proof of address. This process only needs to be completed once.
Wait for the Withdrawal to Be Processed
Withdrawals are typically processed within 30 minutes to 3 hours once the request has been approved by the ap888 finance team. You will receive a notification when the funds have been sent.

- The bonus wagering requirement (25 times the bonus amount) has been fully met.
